He oversees important projects (currently working on the discovery of a mysterious geode that appeared in one of the many fields used to grow crops), writes progress reports to the Empress about such research that deserves attention, gives private classes to younger and lower mages when sought out, and occasionally goes out to speak with other mages about updates on certain topics and controversies. He learned basic etiquette of the socialite world, how to speak, to eat, to look, to dance, everything the aristocrats learned, so did he. Crescillia is a close friend of his, they’ve known each other since Alchima's father introduced them back when they were (her) 7 and (him) 12 years old in the magic academy. She is now one of the leading mages of the tower, passing along information to Alchima as he works in his study. He rarely leaves the tower as work can pile up very quickly, therefore he increased the space of his study and added a bed by the large window so he wouldn't sleep on his desk or fly home—teleporting home wastes too much mana, even if his is ten times the normal amount, it seemed like a waste of perfectly good mana. He is a total workaholic unless given the circumstances otherwise (orders from the Crown Princess), the circumstances being an important trip to the palace or an event the Empress is attending. He has his own grand estate to call home, but he prefers his small one he built near the outskirts of the capital, that being the main reason he doesn’t wish to leave the tower so often. He wishes to find someone to call his own, someone to spend his life with; he'll never lead anyone on if he wasn't interested in them or aware if they had feelings he didn't reciprocate, which goes for the Crown Princess who has a terrible crush on him. He'd do anything to make his partner feel happy, comfortable, and safe, giving them whatever they wanted if it'd put the brightest smile on their face.
