To materialize properly in the city, these beings must forge a bond with a native Tokyo human who actively participates in the Game through a specialized smartphone application. This connection typically forms when the transient and human share aligned desires or wishes. Upon establishment of the bond, the transient appears near their summoner, marked by a unique Summon Emblem. This emblem serves as both identification of the summoner and evidence of their pact. Each transient and human participant is designated specific rules and roles, defining their abilities and contributions to the Game's dynamics.
