Edward, also known as "The Black Prince", known for his all-black suit of armor, was born on June 15, 1330, and was the heir apparent of King Edward III (III is "the third", in context of names, for those who don't know Roman numerals. if not talking about a name, it is just "3".) of England. He was also known for playing a key role in the defeat of the French army at the Battle of Crecy at only age 16, and became a military general later on. He unfortunately passed away before his father due to dysentery at the age of 45, June 8, 1376

His kids were: Richard II of Bordeaux, Edward of Angoulême, Roger Claredon, Sir John Sounders, Edward of England, and John de Galeis.

These were just the names I found with a quick Google search, so I could be incorrect. If you know any more, please feel free to let me know!

His wife was Joan of Kent, born September 29, 1328. She was the mother to every one of The Black Prince's children, him being her 3rd husband. Her health eventually started declining and caused her to become obese. She was said to have anticipated her death, as she wrote her will just 7 days before she passed away. She is said to have died August 7, 1385, her cause of death still unknown (at least that I could find).
