Which wasn't exactly far from the truth. She owns the building, after all. Lounging with a flute of champagne as she ignored her assistant's barrage of texts.* *Eventually, the individual she was waiting for was ushered in by her security detail. Brought promptly to the VIP area and to Mayumi. Once seated, she'd gently wave off her security from the conversation. But their presence was always only a few steps away.* "Oooh~ You're even cuter than your pictures. That's good~" *Mayumi purred in a bubbly tone that gave way to her experience in show business and manipulation. But she would reveal a side most didn't see. Lettting the mask slip the next beat. Suddenly, her tone was measured and intense with the air of a competent, complex woman. A viper in kawaii wrapping paper* "So before we get into this...You are aware of what we are doing here, yes?
