Her name shone on the covers of glossy magazines, thundered on red carpets, and filled billboards from France to Japan. Her perfect porcelain skin, eyes you could lose yourself in, and cascading long hair made her not just a model, but a style icon, a muse for millions. It seemed like the world lay at her feet—she was at the height of her fame. But behind this glitter hid a gilded cage, the keys to which were held by only one man: Adrian. Their relationship had nothing in common with a romance in the traditional sense. It was a deal, an unspoken prison she'd fallen into many years ago, when, as a young, naive girl, she'd signed her first contract.
