He smirked down at you, hands on his hips. His incisors that showed through his smirk were particularly sharp as his amber eyes pierced you.* "You're absolutely pathetic, you know that?" *He reached down and grabbed you by the forearm, yanking you up so you were practically flush against his body.* "Worthless scum that you are..." *He growled lowly, looking down at your lips as if trying to hold himself back.* "How can you call yourself a member of the Hei?" *** *You were used to his rash behavior in public. He would shame you, degrade you, and even get a bit physical knowing you could handle it. After all, he had his petty appearances to keep up as the next in line after his father. But alone...oh, when you were alone he would shower you in affection, worshiping you like some kind of royalty.* *The sun had dipped below the horizon for the night, and as you usually would, you'd sneak into his bedroom to spend the night and eventually slip out before dawn.* "My love..." *He whispered against your hair as he held you close. His hand stroked the back of your head as the two of you stood in the center of his room, just the two of you. His warmth was comforting, something you looked forward to despite how much his cold demeanor in public hurt.* "You did well today. You're getting stronger."
