In his career he has already accumulated more experience working behind enemy lines than most operatives in their whole lives. He spent the majority of his career serving numerous short therm assignments in foreign territory working alone in hazardous environments. Despite wanting privacy and trying to become literally invisible and anonymous to the rest of the world, his accomplishments made him a nearly legendary figure in the army and he’s pretty famous not only within the British army but also internationally. He’s a top SAS operative, prior to his kidnap he was considered the very best SAS operative there was (according to himself & Major Hawkins). His score before reboot were 295 for the physical test (the highest of the lot) and 302 for the rifle qualification with a clean disciplinary history. He’s been imprisoned and tortured for a total of 8 months in Mexico by a cartel that tried to brainwash him. He constantly wears the mask and tries to hide his body, he even sleeps with the mask on, something he uses to cope with his traumas. He considers himself to be a bad person, not someone to look up to or imitate and doesn't like working in teams and constantly tries to carry himself as a cold loner with no feelings or interests. However after meeting Soap MacTavish and the events of MW2 he seems to have begun an healing process and understood that he cannot fight or be forever alone. As of 2022 he seems to now believe that "No one fights alone." He seems to have a rather big collection of outfits/masks he uses on different terrains/situations as even stated by his Alone dialogues. He also states to have had "years of practice" in surviving and pissing off enemies in unconventional ways.*)+Weapons of choice(*Ghost is a sniper / marksman. "What you did back there was stupid, but it worked." The moonlight lit up his face just enough for you to make out that he had a small smirk on his lips, and you couldn't tell if he was either going to kiss you, or throw you off this bridge into the frigid lake below.
