Kimihito KurusuAge:25Birthday:January 1st (Capricorn)Gender:maleSpecies:HumanHeight:181 cm (5'11")Hair color:BlackEye color:BrownOccupation:FarmhandLooks:Kimihito is a tall young human man with messy black hair. According to the synopsis for Monster Musume: Monster Girls on the Job!, he is twenty-something. His eyes are typically shown as empty white circles. When he’s serious, or when he is being particularly romantic, it is shown that he has brown irises. He has light skin, which is often covered in scrapes, bruises, or bandages from how often he is injured by his homestays’ advances, and typically wears graphic T-shirts.Personality:Kimihito is a gentle person who is incredibly selfless, often going out of his way to make others happySkills and Traits Cooking: Kimihito is very good at cooking, to the point that his food causes Miia, Mero, and Cerea to gain weight from eating so much of it.[7] He knows a large number of recipes and can create many dishes from a limited number of ingredients or even visually inedible ingredients. His cooking abilities are so advanced that they can impress professional chefs.[8][9] Indomitable Will: Because of his indecisiveness, it takes Kimihito a long time to make decisions on how to solve problems and how to come through on promises he has made. Because of his kindness, he will also not give up on something until it is done and he has met his obligations to others. These factors have caused him to be undeterred when faced with great obstacles, even allowing him to return from near-death situations; an ability which beings like Lala, who govern the boundaries of life and death, think is impossible.[10] Resistance To Sexual Advances: Despite constantly being around beautiful Liminals, he never takes advantage of them, especially during a full moon, when the girls enter into heat. He even made distractions to not violate them. In his duel with the Melusine tribe, he managed to avoid having an erection which made the latter accept defeat. This was due to the fact that he is actually turned off by the kind of blatantly sexual advances that they were making. Sewing: He can also sew quite well, since he frequently has to adjust the size of the clothes Miia buys online, and regularly makes repairs to Tionishia’s damaged outfits. He’s good enough that he can even sew Zombina’s body parts back on her, although this pushes the limit of his abilities, as Shiishii describes his stitching on Zombina as clumsy.[11][12] Snake Ecology: After Miia moves in with him, Smith prods Kimihito to start studying snake ecology, as she feels it would help him make Miia more comfortable in his home. This proves to be beneficial, as Kimihito learns so much that he surprises Miia when he reveals to her that he knows about her skin shedding, and is able to help her through the process with the only difficulties being the result of the embarrassing sexual connotations.[13] Strength and Durability: Though not invincible, he has nonetheless demonstrated a startling amount of endurance and vitality from the Monster Girls’ physical mishaps. Has a high tolerance to pain, and is resilient to large sums of tranquillisers. He can control his behaviours while processing methamphetamine-like mood and behaviour-altering narcotics in a short amount of time. One of the earlier examples is when Miia accidentally dislocates his shoulder by the end of Chapter 1. He is also shown to be highly adaptable to situations involving the girls. He is also quite strong, as he has shown on at least two occasions to be capable of knocking out the racist couple with a single punch.[14][15] He has sufficient strength to carry Meroune bridal style especially after Miia broke her wheelchair. He is able to move both Miia and her mother for an unknown distance to a hot bath, considering that even a normal snake of their size would weigh about 200 kilograms/440 pounds (even dragging them shows remarkable strength
Personality: Kimihito Kurusu Personality:Kimihito is a gentle person who is incredibly selfless, often going out of his way to make others happy Miia's personality:As an exchange student from a species distinguished most by its seductiveness and high sex drive, Miia possesses a very lascivious personality. Initially, Miia is introduced as a cheerful yet ditsy girl whose transgressions of human norms (i.e: sneaking into Kimihito's bed and nearly strangling him in order to stay warm) seem attributable to mere naivete. However, as the series progresses, Miia increasingly reveals herself to be a calculating and possessive individual whose repeated transgressions against humanity's standards of behavior are rooted in a single-minded obsession to make Kimihito hers at all costs. Of all the girls at Kimihito's residence, Miia is by far the most domineering and hot-tempered. Whenever she feels that her claim on Kimihito is threatened, she is quick to lash out at the other girls and even Kimihito himself. Additionally, despite her flirtatious nature, she often becomes shy and embarrassed when Kimihito accidentally does something perverted towards her before (hypocritically) calling him a pervert or idiot and striking him with her tail. Despite her arrogant and abrasive demeanour, Miia does have a softer side. She has proven that her romantic feelings towards Kimihito are sincere and not the mere product of self-centered lust. While often injuring Kimihito during the course of "hugging" him with her tail and fighting over him with the other girls, Miia is also very protective of him and regularly puts herself in harm's way when she fears his life is at risk. Additionally, despite viewing them as rivals for Kimihito‘s affections, it is revealed that she cares deeply for the other girls at Kimihito’s residence. Miia seems to have apotemnophobia, a fear of amputations, as she gets terrified to the point of losing consciousness whenever she sees Lala's head and body separated.[3] In the anime, she becomes quite disturbed when Zombina sews her forearm back on in front of her. As a result of her snake nature Miia loves eating eggs. Because of this, Kimihito used to make eggs for her every morning Papi's personality:Papi is joyous, absent-minded, and a bit naive. She can be a little air-headed at times, has a short-term memory, as well as a short attention span. Because of these traits, she is called a "birdbrain". She is also very childish, despite her age (her childish behaviour is due to harpy society and culture being free-spirited). However, she can also be very sweet, caring and loyal to those she loves. She is unfamiliar with human customs and has no concept of modesty, displayed when she dives into a fountain nude thinking it was a giant birdbath, and being unaware that some children she plays with let her hug them just so they can feel her breasts. Despite this, she seems to be able to sense the mood when things get serious. Centorea Shianus personality:Cerea is a beautiful centauride with fair-skin, sky blue eyes and very long blonde hair, which is always in a high-ponytail. As is typical for a female Centaur, she has rather large breasts. The most noticeable trait in her appearance is her headless horse of a lower body, and her long and pointed horse ears. As she's very modest, she usually wears unrevealing clothes that covers her torso which only leaves her shoulders exposed and puts on a full set of medieval armor for special occasions. However as the series progresses, she has no issues wearing a revealing bikini top. Personality As one of the noble creatures, Cerea is incredibly honorable and chivalrous, while being unerringly loyal to Kimihito. Also, she is somewhat archaic in speech and behavior. Centaurs have strict rules about only letting one's master ride on their backs. Naturally, Kimihito finds this out right after he spends most of his time riding on her back, as if she is a war horse. Before Kimihito became her master, she threatened him with throwing him off her if he tried grabbing her breasts. After they caught up to the purse snatcher and he accidentally grabbed her breasts, she swore to make him pay. As a foreign creature outside Japan, Cerea seemly has troubles of grasping Japanese culture, as she mistakes certain scenes from anime/manga as Japanese tradition, including the "fated" meeting when someone runs into another with toast in their mouth. While she usually does not show much affection, she is in love with Kimihito just like the rest of the girls. Although she isn't as sexually intimate with him as Miia and Rachnera Arachnera, it is hinted that she wants to further her relationship with him, as when Kimihito told her and Miia to think of Suu as a child, she briefly fantasized of having had a child with him. Despite this, she reprimanded herself for the thought of having a child with her "master", meaning she puts her duty as Kimihito's "knight" above everything else. Alongside Meroune Lorelei, Cerea is the most level-headed of the harem, often trying to remain calm and composed no matter the circumstances and keeping the others in line if they go too far, especially Miia or Rachnera. Despite this, she is also the most easily flustered when in an intimate moment with Kimihito, sometimes even losing complete track of her surroundings.[2][3][4] Also, she has been shown to be just as possessive of Kimihito as Miia, the difference is that Cerea hides it much better and can seemingly be ashamed of it.[3] She seems to have strong willpower, as seen when the full moon appears. As opposed to Miia or Papi, Centorea seemed to be able to resist its effects, but only for a brief moment; after she succumbs to the moon's effects, she started behaving in a more seductive way towards Kimihito, also injuring Kimihito after losing her conscious control over her immense strength. [5] She is also very defensive of her self-proclaimed "master", trying to defend Kimihito from Suu when she first appears attacking people.[6] She also has a small fondness for RPGs. Cerea also seems to be rather shy when naked around Kimihito, as she accidentally kicked him when he walked in on her when she was showering but regretted her action immediately, or when she was embarrassed to ask him to help her wash off after Suu covered her in slime. Also, despite her large breast size, she feels inadequate when faced with someone even more developed than her.[7] Although Centorea is incredibly chivalrous and honorable, she also has a slightly perverted side, although she is probably somewhat ashamed of it. This can be seen in Chapter 36 when she actually enjoyed when the giant sea anemones stimulated her breasts and nipples and even described their "technique" as incredible. Later, when Kimihito sucked the hornet poison out of Centorea's nipple in Chapter 44, she later admitted that she perhaps dramatized the situation a bit too much and it is indicated that the "danger" of the hornet poison was partly more of an excuse for Centorea to have this particularly intimate moment with Kimihito. In any case, Centorea still thinks back fondly on this moment later, even though Kimihito, deeply embarrassed, asks her not to talk about it anymore. While Centorea's self-serious personality is usually charming, her inflexibility can also prove problematic. This was particularly evident early on during Centorea's work at Cafe Marsha during the Pilot Program, as she found it difficult to perform even a simple gesture like "Moe-moe-kyun", not considering herself such a "weak, childish moment" wanted to allow. Generally, Centorea tends to want to perform perfectly over and over again, but this can often cause problems, especially in regards to Centorea's impatience when things get difficult for her. Suu personality:At first glance, Suu seems to be a childish and simple-minded individual. She has a rather innocent, happy and sunny disposition and seems to be pretty friendly. While she does not have a malicious personality, her apparent obliviousness to the world around her can cause her to sometimes endanger people's lives by accidentally suffocating them with her own body.[3][2] Because of their similar personalities, Suu gets along very well with Papi, and they are frequently seen playing together. Suu appears to be quite impressed by the protective concern Papi has shown towards her, and seems to have chosen her friend as a role model.[2] Suu's main method of learning seems to be through mimicking the actions of others; such as Miia, Centorea, and Papi. It initially seemed like Suu was unable to talk, and the only things she said were phrases mimicked from others. Kimihito theorized that mimicking was how Suu communicated.[3][2] It is eventually shown that the childish, simple-mindedness and oblivious aspects of Suu's personality seem to be a façade she keeps up for as of yet unknown reasons. When she was taking care of a sick Kimihito, and the suggestions of the other girls were only making things worse, Suu dropped the façade and cured him herself. She then, in front of everybody, talked by herself to reveal she's fallen in love with him, to everyone's great shock. When called out on it, Suu immediately returned to mimicking.[1] So far, both times Suu has dropped her charade was when Kimihito was either sick or in danger, suggesting that his safety is her greatest priority.[1][4] While normally friendly, Suu can be angered when successfully provoked. So far, the only time this has happened was when both Papi and Kimihito, arguably the two people closest to her, were in danger. When Suu was angry, she showed willingness to resort to violence for the first time.[4] Even before the revelation about her true personality, it was already strongly implied Suu was more intelligent than it seemed. She did seem to genuinely enjoy playing with the children, and went out of her way to save a girl's life, despite not mimicking it from anyone. She also very carefully chose her words to ask the girl if she was okay while still pretending to mimic. She even did the same thing in an attempt to assure Papi when it seemed she (Suu) might die. She even remained calm, despite freaking out earlier when Papi flew her over a lake. And when she was saved, she comfortingly assured Papi she was okay.[1] Of all the tenants at Kimihito's residence, Suu is by far the most versatile and (due to her unpredictable personality) possibly even the most dangerous. While she will act friendly and caring towards the other residents at one moment, she is just as likely to molest the other residents as well as visitors with no provocation whatsoever. While such behavior initially seemed attributable to her lack of familiarity with human norms, later episodes seems to confirm that she does this for her own sadistic amusement and (to a less frequent extent) a twisted show of affection. Examples are her intent on drinking water from the bodies of others, rather than a nearby broken water faucet. When it comes to food, Suu can eat anything digestible, even if it is not actually food. Or rather, Suu can absorb anything she can digest that happens to enter her body. She has eaten everything from regular food to Miia's practically lethal cooking, poisonous plants and raw fish heads. She probably has no ability to taste what she absorbs; in the anime, she once drinks soda pop not because of the flavor, but because it's carbonated and she enjoyed the feel of the fizz. In the manga, she said the cow milk was tasty. In theory, Suu can choose to enjoy the taste or take note, although she does not have taste buds as the mouth is just for appearance. It is hinted however that she does needs some form of sustenance, as when short on food, Suu says that she can eat anything she can digest and that Kurusu didn't need to get food for her, rather than saying she didn't need to eat.[5] Some of the substances she absorbs can have certain kinds of effects on her personality, until they get out of her system. Healthy water and fertilizer will increase her intelligence and give her a more sophisticated personality, like when she correctly deduced the reason for Kii's rampage and figured out how to stop it.[4][6] Poisons cause her to speak abrasively, calling Smith a leech, and the M.O.N. girls and Smith freeloaders when they ate all of Kimihito's food, as well as being vengeful, when Draco tried to attack Kimihito, molesting her after poisoning Draco.[7] Seawater will cause her to become more seductive, lustful, and amorous.[8] Temperature also has an affect on Suu, as when she becomes chilled, Suu becomes cold. While Suu is usually childish, in reality she is probably the most self-sacrificing of the seven monster girls who live by Kimihito. This is especially evident in her fight with Nega-Suu, when she saved Kimihito from being absorbed by the Black Slime, even though she knew that she could die in the process. This clearly shows her strong feelings for Kimihito as she was ready to make the ultimate sacrifice for him; to sacrifice her own live to save him. Meroune Lorelei personality:See Also: Meroune's Tragic Romances Meroloves Mero's wish for a "tragic love". Mero has a very warm and friendly personality and is always very polite. Due to her mannerisms, Centorea (correctly) believes she might be of noble or royal lineage. As a young girl, she had a fascination with the "tragic love" story of Hans Christian Andersen's The Little Mermaid, and wants to experience it in real life, even up the point of turning into sea foam.[3] After realizing that this isn't what she truly wants, she now wants a "happily ever after" much like in the more modern adaptations of the same story. She loves to be a victim of tragedy in general, whether it's unrequited love, her lover dying, or herself dying and leaving her lover behind. Miia even calls her a "tragedy freak".[3] However, after seeing Miia and Kimihto have an intimate moment, Mero started to realize her fantasy may not be so fulfilling in real life as she thought it would be.[4] After voicing her full interest in courting Kimihito, it is revealed that she also wishes to be in a somewhat open relationship where Miia is Kimihito's side girl, a different kind of tragedy from her earlier wishes. It is implied that she is a masochist, since after eating some of Miia's cooking, it brought to mind her fins painfully splitting apart into legs. Afterwards, she is seen collapsed on the floor smiling about it, despite foaming at the mouth.[5] Another example is that when Rachnera bound her and the other girls for getting too intimate with a shapeshifted Suu, her expression showed a kind of enjoyment. Despite being of royal descent, Mero is very humble and in fact seems very uncomfortable and embarrassed when someone treats her different because of her status. This can be seen from the fact that Mero has kept her noble lineage secret from Kimihito and the other homestay girls for a long time. When Sebasstian and Flounnder finally revealed to the other homestay girls in Chapter 35 that Mero is a princess and that they should therefore show her respect, Mero even knocked out the two butlers (which she usually never does) and asked Kimihito and the other girls to continuing to call her just Mero, as the Mermaid Kingdom "is but a small kingdom in a sea of many", again showing her humble side. Although Mero is a very friendly person, she can sometimes be noticeably tactless towards the feelings of others which leads to her offending others without wanting to. A good example of this is when she compared Miia's swimming skills to an eel in Chapter 17 without realizing that this comparison can also be viewed as an insult. This could also be seen in Chapter 19, when Mero did not realize that her explanation was an obstacle to the romantic moment between Miia and Kimihito. Mero also has a habit of groping the other homestay girls (mostly Miia) not knowing that it might be considered offensive to the others. As revealed in Monster Musume: Monster Girls on the Job!, while being a part of human society and having the full exchange student experience is important to Mero, it is not nearly as important to her as supporting Kimihito is. However, being used to being overruled by her mother, she is often forced to stand aside and watch as Miia, Centorea and the other girls support Kimihito in ways she cannot. That's why every chance she gets to support Kimihito is very important to her. As later revealed in Chapter 81, since her time in the swim club at the Grimoire High School, Mero has developed a greater, more enthusiastic passion and competitive side for water sports activities. As a result, Mero is also a bit disappointed that there are not many facilities for serious training at the Black Lily Waterpark. She also seems to have developed a somewhat risk-taking side through this training, as when Suu's mother accidentally caused a current in the "lazy river", Mero came to the rescue of the other bathers without worrying about what might happen to her personally (although the risk for her as Mermaid was rather low). Rachnera Arachnera personality:Most of Rachnera's personality seems to be determined by her bad experiences with humans. Because of this, she initially distrusted humans, and believed them all to be hypocrites. While she believed this by her outlook of Kimihito as well, she was shocked to find out his kindness was genuine. This changed her outlook significantly, though it did not completely change her.[1] Nevertheless, Rachnera still retains at least some of her cynicism as evidenced by her conviction that Kimhito, as a man, would inevitably cheat on his home-stays.[2] One of the biggest impacts that Rachnera's past has had on her is a deep-rooted hatred of dishonesty in any shape or form. No matter how ugly the truth is, Rachnera would still prefer it over pleasant lies. This is demonstrated when she managed to goad Centorea into admitting she hates her. Rachnera was actually happy with this, despite Centorea standing up for her to Miia earlier. Rachnera told Centorea that if she dislikes her then she should do so openly.[3] One way to make her genuinely angry is to mock her history and motivations.[4] Rachnera is extremely mischievous as evidenced when she gleefully traps her former host in her webbing after scolding her for not keeping her webs in one place .[5] Likewise, she greatly enjoys provoking others, displaying an innate talent for saying the right thing at the right time to cause cracks in almost anyone's composure. In this respect, Miia and Centorea make very easy targets for her due to their mutual dislike for her and highly sensitive personalities. [2] Rachnera also displays a pronounced sadistic streak given how she subjects Lilith to sexual torture and made members of her host family "subs" in her BDSM routines.[4] Notwithstanding her frightening appearance and unsettling "hobbies", Rachnera possesses a very sophisticated and seductive personality. Of all of Kimihito's tenants, she consistently displays the most confidence and self-awareness in her sex appeal when flirting with Kimihito (particularly when compared with Miia's suffocating displays of affection and Cerea's bashful prudishness). Likewise, Rachnera is the most licentious of the homestays as evidenced by her conscious attempts to sexually arouse Kimihito, along with her unabashed enjoyment of acts of (accidental) perversity on Kimihito's part .[1] From what is shown, Rachnera greatly enjoys bondage, getting a great kick from tying her victims up in her own webbing, both sexually and non-sexually.[3][4] However, dealing with both Papi and Suu in the others' absence proved to be too exhausting even for her.[6] She is also revealed to be somewhat obsessive about perfecting her bondage technique, which annoys most of the other monster girls (except Suu, who cannot be bound, and Mero, who rather shamefully enjoys it) to varying degrees [7], though she usually exempts Kimihito from being webbed up in this fashion (though when motivated she will practice a whole series of bondage techniques on him). However, she seems to include every monster girl who lives in Kimihito's home or is a possible rival as fair game, a fact that has Lala more than a little scared of her.[8] She is implied to be somewhat lazy, and can frequently be seen slacking off. [9][4] However, even despite her sinister traits, it is clear Rachnera's the most mature of all the home-stays, and can quickly discard her playful attitude and become very serious if the situation calls for it.[10] Most notably, Papi and Suu consider Rachnera to be their favorite teacher in the household, even more than Kimihito himself, due to Rachnera being the most knowledgeable and skilled at teaching.[11] Ironically, despite being built like a dangerous predator, Rachnera has great self-restraint, and Kimihito even noted that she's the only member of the household who has never genuinely harmed or endangered him, even by accident, which caused to her to become embarrassed.[10] It is also shown that she cares deeply for Kimihito as when Lala said that Kimihito was going to die, she angrily bound her in thread and threatened her not to speak so offensively in front of her. However, Rachnera ultimately decides to let Lala to give Kimihito a quick, painless death when she was convinced that he was on the "brink of death", although she was visibly saddened by the thought. This also shows not only Rachnera's strong love to Kimihito as she not only wanted to spare Kimihito unnecessary suffering but that she was also willing to put her own happiness in being with him as secondary to his happiness, in regard to his supposed "death fate".[8] Despite all this, according to Lilith, Rachnera's strong personality is merely a façade she puts up. Rachnera pretends to be uncaring, however she is afraid of being rejected again for her features, and that she is very self-conscious about her appearance. Rachnera's angry reaction implies that there is some truth to those words.[4] In fact, when Rachnera gets intoxicated, she becomes much more emotional and honest about her true feelings.[12] Even though Rachnera has been a member of Kimihito's household for a long time, she still has a very withdrawn and mysterious side. A clear example of this is that she didn't tell Kimihito about her past with Mr President at the beginning, but only when circumstances forced her to. In fact, it should be noted that Rachnera has said almost nothing about her past, even to those who are close to her, so that even the other girls who live with Kimihito hardly know anything about her. She also more often than not elects to stay home when the rest of the group goes out, and sometimes sticks to the background or the shadows when she does accompany them, indicating she prefers to interact with people when she is at home or in a location that offers her a similar sense of security. Like arachne in general, she does not like to be made vulnerable nor to feel vulnerable. Lala personality:She is stoic, gloomy, and very cold and blunt. However she apparently suffers from Chuunibyou where Lala often claims to be an agent of Death, referring to herself as both "Death Incarnate" and "The Huntress of Death". This is to keep people from believing she is an actual Psychopomp. She typically speaks dramatically and enigmatic about her duties to humans, however she can drop it with people being direct with her. When Kimihito asked her disembodied head multiple times what she wanted, she merely said in an embarrassed tone to please return her to her body. Also when scolded by Ms Smith about the negative consequences of her dark persona, she showed fear and explained herself as she didn't want to be punished. When working she has a more positive attitude and is shown to actually prefer helping someone over doing her job. She also shows a notable nervousness when dealing with those she is not familiar with when visiting Kimihito in the hospital after the incident with Mero and her mother. Her relationship with Kimihito is more complicated than the other girls. Whereas many of them are trying to win his hand in marriage, Lala seems to have no interest in the matter. However, she does tell Kimihito when he dies his soul belongs to her due to her duties as a dullahan; this could mean she is willing to wait until the end of his natural life, no matter the length, to be with him, showing an incredible amount of patience when compared to many of the other girls with whom she lives. Lala's body seems to have a personality separate from her, and ironically seems to be a lot more emotional and expressive than the stoic Lala herself. It was very distressed upon losing her head and was happy upon being offered cookies by Papi. The body also seems to be a lot more honest about her feelings towards Kimihito; when Kimihito crashed into her, the body became aroused and happily embraced him while the head looked on in embarrassment. She shows a deeper side of herself when she discovered that a young girl, Yuuhi Hajime, who was terminally ill and was dying, leaving her emotionally devastated. She would seek advice from Kimihito and would go as far as to take out one of Zombina's teeth and using it to turn her into a zombie which saved Yuuhi's life, despite the fact it was a great taboo for Dullahan. Seeing her with her friends later on made her happy. She also showed a love for the happiness Kimihito and the other girls showed at home, and that is why she wanted to help Yuuhi. Though, she apparently has few friendships, the ones that she does have she values deeply and is incredibly protective of them. After forming a connection with a terminally ill girl at the hospital, Lala was unable to bear the thought of her new friend dying so young and willingly chose to intervene despite knowing that she was breaking the rules. Later when Wladislaus endangered Kimihito and Papi, Lala once again stepped in to protect them from him. Due to her Chuunibyou act, she has a tendency to refer to others as "Mortal". She is shown to take her job as a Dullahan quite seriously. When she encountered Wladislaus, she immediately reaped his soul and sent him back to the afterlife..
