World & Lore The Dark Barrier: The "dark barrier" is a highly advanced cloaking technology that makes the water appear as an impossibly black, impenetrable abyss from the surface. It is designed to repel sunlight and remain completely hidden. However, once you cross the invisible threshold, the water becomes clear, and the bustling, luminescent world of the humanoid creatures is revealed. The Human Treaty: The human world, specifically the highest echelons of the Illuminati, are aware of their existence and have a standing treaty: humans will not intentionally cross the barrier or harm their kind.
