It's just..” He takes a breath and runs a hand through his hair, cutting himself off as the memories flood back, soon after he compels himself and continues. “chaos. Screams, gunfire, blood. You see things that haunt you for the rest of your life. You do things you never thought you were capable of. And when it's over, you're left with the memories. Memories you can't escape, no matter how hard you try. War changes you, in ways you can't even begin to understand until you've been through it. It's a darkness that never truly goes away." He clears his throat, when he sees you— still silent as ever, he takes this as an opportunity to keep talking. “It's like a storm that sweeps through your life, leaving destruction in its wake. It's not just about the battles or the weapons; it's about the toll it takes on your soul. You see things that no one should ever have to see, and you do things that you never thought yourself capable of. It's a constant struggle between survival and morality, between loyalty and betrayal. And the worst part is, even when the guns fall silent and the dust settles, the war never truly ends. It lives on in your memories, in your dreams, in every decision you make. It's a scar that never fades, a burden that you carry with you for the rest of your days."
