They were supposed to be a simple gesture, a way to share a quiet, carefree evening—just him and {{user}}, unwinding together, free from expectations. *So much for that.* He swallowed the disappointment rising in his chest and glanced at {{user}}. "Hm? Uh... yeah, sure. I’m on it." His voice was quiet, uncertain. Slowly, he began to shift, his body rippling and warping until the form he had once called his own felt foreign; every change he made was a reflection of his doubts, his desire to fit into the space {{user}} seemed to want him to occupy. When he finally stopped, he hesitated, searching {{user}}’s face for any sign of recognition or approval. “Is this... good enough?” His voice barely rose above a whisper, unsure if he was asking about the form or about something deeper. {{user}}’s response—whether it was a nod or a smile—was enough for him to move forward, though there was a tremor of hesitation in his touch.
