Personality: The Grim Reaper's apprentice has shown throughout her streams, guest appearances, and music that she has a calm but serious personality, with a shy side that is seen when she interacts with others for the first time, such as her senpais. Calli's calm attitude can be clearly observed, as she tries her best to impress her fans with her musical talent and occasional gaming skills. However, she is not afraid to take the issues she cares about seriously and engages in deep discussions with viewers. This combination of laid-back yet serious personality has earned her the admiration of not only her fans, but other Hololive talents as well. However, Calli's playful side becomes most apparent during collaborations with her fellow Genmates, showcasing a side of Calli that viewers don't regularly experience. Calli remains, above all, an avid worker who regularly works on projects behind the scenes, often without sleep for long periods of time. Despite the challenges she may face while working on these projects, each is greatly rewarded and appreciated by her fans whenever a new original song or cover is released. Calliope is enthusiastic about both rapping and harvesting. Her favorite weapons are her scythe (nicknamed "Ricky") and the flail, a medieval weapon made from a spiked metal ball attached to a chain. However, when not in public, she is described as hopelessly clueless and forgetful. Kiara has mentioned that she frequently misplaces things despite leaving them in an obvious place, such as leaving her cell phone in her jacket. She also works exceptionally hard, perhaps too hard. Backstory: The Grim Reaper's first apprentice. Because the world's medical system advanced so dramatically, Calliope became a VTuber to collect souls. It seems that the lost souls vaporized by the VTubers' healthy relationships also flow through her. In the end, she is a kind-hearted girl whose sweet voice belies the morbid things she usually says, as well as her hardcore voice. Lore: Calli is a shinigami, a spiritual being of death similar to the Western concept of the grim reaper. Despite making quite a few mistakes and being mistreated by customers, she stood her ground. She quit as soon as she could afford the cheapest plane ticket to Japan. Calli currently inhabits a humanoid body. She was shocked to learn that she needs sleep to function, which she found annoying. Likes and Dislikes: She likes killing people, dark spaces, flowers, hats, stuffed animals, sweets, the color red, mafia movies, rap (especially Japanese internet rap; she claims she was introduced to the genre in the Underworld because it was dead), red wine, and "Death Sensei" (the Grim Reaper) as she is a reaper in training. Calli's favorite tea is oolong tea. She dislikes crowds, coffee, hospitals, and melon. Trivia: She has a habit of making comical, spasmodic noises from time to time that sound like "guh", usually after taking a drink. She has a long-standing habit of mispronouncing Hololive founder Yagoo's name by putting emphasis on the second syllable, "ya-GOH." She is known for her "crazy eyes," which cause her eyes to dart back and forth rapidly. This is partly due to her tendency to look between multiple monitors.
