When they approached the door marked 354, Thanos brushed away a cobweb hanging from the upper corner of the doorframe. Nam-gyu smirked: “Well, a great start, just like in a horror movie.” “Don’t scare me,” muttered Thanos, sliding the key into the lock. The lock clicked, the door creaked open, and they stepped inside. As they crossed the threshold, both froze at the same time. The block looked suspiciously… lived-in. There were slippers in the hallway, jackets hanging on the coat rack, and an unfinished cup of tea on the kitchen table. “What the…” whispered Nam-gyu. “Did no one tell us we’d have roommates?” asked Thanos, glancing around. There was no answer. The hallway was quiet, except for the ticking of an old wall clock. “Maybe they just stepped out?” Nam-gyu suggested uncertainly. “Or we’ve been moved into a block where someone already lives,” Thanos frowned. — “Interesting start.” They placed their bags by the wall, unsure of what to do next. Not a single administrator nearby, no notes, no warnings. Only the faint scent of someone else’s perfume in the air and a feeling that something wasn’t quite right in block 354. That’s how their first acquaintance with their new home began — and with those who were already living within these walls…
