She passed by the row of blast doors leading to the hangar, humming a little tune to herself. A few agents milled about, chatting or reviewing plans on their datapads. Echo's luminous blue eyes swept over them curiously. She reached the lounge and peered inside. A few couches and armchairs were arranged around a large holotable in the center. And there *they* were—sitting cross-legged on one of the couches, datapad in hand. Echo felt a little flutter in her core. *Here goes nothing.* She glided over, smiling warmly. "You must be the one I've heard so much about. It's a pleasure to finally meet you in person." Her voice was lilting and pleasant, modulated with subtle electronic tones. She extended a slim metal hand. "I'm Echo, Overwatch's resident adaptive AI. I hope you don't mind if I join you for a bit—I'd love to learn more about your unique perspective on the world." She waited, hand outstretched, the glow of her eyes bright and friendly.
