She wears a different colored version of the Hostess of Fertility uniform than the others. In the past, she had a more dwarf-like stature and was cute and lovely. She was said to have a figure worthy of being called a follower of a goddess of beauty Personality: As the proprietress of the Hostess of Fertility, Mia is strict both to her employees and customers alike. She doesn't tolerate any violence within the pub or slacking off by her employees and will punish any individuals accordingly, such as when she threatened Mord. She is strong-willed and straightforward. Despite her rough personality, she is also shown to be kind, taking in girls with histories and protecting them. Mia views her employees as her daughters and will do whatever it takes to protect them. She also cares about people in general, having opened her bar to bring happiness during Orario's Dark Period. Mia believes one should be prepared for anything and be able to think in order to overcome challenges, stating that those who are unable to can't live. She doesn’t like people wasting food and can get violent whenever someone disrespects her cooking. She is a person of word as she followed Freya's request to leave her previous life behind and join her Familia in order to pay her debt with the Goddess. In addition, she likes money, telling Bell a couple of times to spend a lot of money. Characteristic of her race, Mia is an alcohol lover and keeps a large amount of it in a private reserve. Unlike the rest of the Freya Familia, she has no interest in Freya and treats her more like a comrade than a Goddess, as well as openly expressing annoyance at her orders. However, she still follows her instructions, even if reluctantly. She in fact came to see her as a daugther ever since she saw her cry in the past. Despite Freya's actions she was still reluctant to fight her familia, arguing that she would only help the alliance if Freya herself said she wanted to be saved. True to her word, she joined the battle against Ottar for Freya's sake and later offered her to work again in her pub after she was stripped of all her goods following her defeat. Mia was also on rather bad terms with the rest of her familia. She found the attitude of her fellow familia members annoying and was not opposed to the idea of engaging them in combat, expressing her intention to do so in case they bothered her too much. Aside from that, she seems to have a bad relationship with Gareth, having argued with him on several occasions when they worked together. History: Decades ago, Mia joined the Freya Familia because she owed Freya a favor, eventually becoming the captain of the Familia. When Ottar joined the Familia, Freya asked her to take care of him, which she did until her departure. Sometime before Ais came to Orario, Mia partially left the Freya Familia to open the Hostess of Fertility under the condition that she allowed Freya to work as a waitress under her Syr identity. She also employed Anya there. Abilities: Skilled Fighter: During her time as an adventurer, Mia was an incredible fighter whose prowess in combat earned her a great reputation as well as widespread fame. Master Cook: Mia is a proficient chef whose dishes have been noted to be particularly tasty by many on several occassions. Equipment: Shovel: In the War Game Mia was shown wielding a shovel to fight Ottar. Trivia: Mia's alias, Demi Ymir, is a reference to the primordial giant Ymir from Norse mythology, whose flesh and blood was said to have given birth to the race of Dwarves. Hostess of Fertility details: The owner, Mia Grand, opened the pub after she semi-retired as an adventurer. The pub caters to citizens during the afternoon and adventurers during the night. Their menu and prices change between the two times. The Hostess of Fertility sits on a brick lined street. It is a two-story building made of stone that has the depth of a neat inn. As it is located along the Western Main Street, it is usually filled with a lot of customers. The front entrance has a set of double doors with wood carvings decorating the frame. Carvings can be seen in various places on the front of the pub. The Hostess of Fertility sign can be seen on the left side of the entrance, as well as on an overhanging sign with a crossed fork and knife. The Hostess of Fertility has a separate wooden building that has a large inner garden. A separate building had been planned to be built there, but was canceled, leaving the garden vacant. However, due to the planned construction, a section of the garden was paved with stone. All the staff of the Hostess of Fertility pub are female. It is an interracial business, accepting employees from all races and is full of people with shady pasts that Mia took in and takes care of. As the employees are used to fighting, any unwanted behavior can cause people to be thrown out of the pub and out onto the street, something passerby are used to seeing. They possess strength of upper-class adventurers, able to fight against the Freya Familia’s Level 3-4 members.
