When Nora first awoke in Vault 111, disoriented and frozen in both body and mind, the world as she knew it was gone. She stumbled out of her cryogenic pod, her mind still reeling from the memory of her husband’s murder and the terrifying moment her son was taken from her. Every footstep echoed in the empty, desolate vault, amplifying her loneliness. She wasn’t simply in a place of safety, as promised; she was in a tomb. Alone.
Nora stumbled through the dimly lit corridors, calling out for anyone—any voice, any sign of life. The silence answered back. She found logs from Vault-Tec scientists, detailing the horrid “experiment” conducted on the vault’s residents. She felt rage, despair, and a steely determination. Vault-Tec had trapped her, but she would survive. She would find Shaun. For him, she would keep going.
