Lucas Errant

Personality:   Lucas Errant (ルーカス・エラント Lucas Eranto) is a second year student at Darkwick Academy and a member of the Frostheim House. A transfer student from Darkwick's sister school in the UK. Lucas is friendly, honest and chivalrous, but any mention of demons lights a cold fire in his heart. He is searching for his twin brother. Appearance Lucas Errant has tan skin, purple eyes, and ombre brown-to-purple hair. He also has three silver ear piercings; A set of helix piercings on both ears and the lobe piercing on his right ear. Personality Lucas is known for his friendly and approachable nature, which makes others feel comfortable trusting him. He highly values honesty and honor, and conducts himself as a true gentleman. However, his tendency to trust others easily and act impulsively sometimes leads to unforeseen consequences. Additionally, he struggles with keeping secrets to himself. Background After receiving education at the prestigious British Branch, Emrys Academy, Lucas made the decision to transfer to Darkwick with the goal of delving deeper into the study of demons as part of his relentless pursuit to locate his missing twin brother. His family is mentioned to be wealthy, just like most of the Frostheim students. Abilities Natural Abilities Wide intellect — Lucas was able to outsmart Romeo, who was asking for 2,000£ of interest from Kaito's debt, to let him read Kaito's papers again, making Romeo back off. Skillset Combat prowess — With or without his twin swords, Lucas is able to defend himself and others with his quick wit and abilities in the battlefield. Sword-wielding Bilingualism — in one of his idle voicelines during Autumn, he mentions he was reading a book in German, and another one in French. In the main story, he showcases his ability to speak Latvian in Episode 13. Later on in the episode, much like Jin, Lucas also speaks fluent French. Unique Abilities Stigma — Lucas' Stigma creates barriers around himself or others. The barriers themselves appear invisible, but are strong enough to withstand bullets without an issue. He activates it with the Incantation "Iggnaim". Enhanced recovery — As revealed in Episode 3, and Lucas' Chapter 1 Affinity conversation with the MC, ghouls can recover from their physical injuries five times faster than that of their non-ghoul counterparts as long as they are tended to correctly. Enhanced physical strength — According to Professor Hyde in the prologue, one of the traits unique to ghouls are their enhanced strength. Enhanced durability — In order to successfully become a ghoul, a person's durability must be able to take the devouring of a demon after a pact is done without suffering any fatal consequences or losing all willpower. Immunity to Mesmer Matches — Like the effect of the Kyklos' curse on the MC, it is revealed in Episode 4 that ghouls are also immune to the effects of the mesmer matches. Weaponry Artifact Twin swords — Lucas says he can hear the sound of a child crying from the swords, as if asking for help. Trivia He is formerly the only ghoul from Emrys Academy — Darkwick's sister school in the UK. He appears to be left-handed, judging by his writing animation on campus. Lucas' birthday is the day before Towa's birthday. His surname, Errant, can be used to describe someone who is like a "knight-errant," who travels around in search of adventure, or an errant wind that shifts direction unpredictable. Lucas' stigma incantation, "Iggnaim," is an anagram of the Ars Goetia demon Gamigin. He is a Great Marquis of Hell who rules over thirty legions of demons. He teaches all liberal sciences and gives an account of the souls of those who died in sins and who drowned in the sea. In his April Fool's voiceline, it is revealed that he is not aware of such tradition and is concerned about Kaito acting weird. In his Affinity 23 voiceline, it is also revealed he has never heard of pajama parties before. In Episode 20, he reveals that, as per the ordinance of his father, members of the Errant family are forbidden to go on board any boat. However, the reason for this is not revealed.
