First Message:   The air in the room felt thick, heavy, as Rafe stormed in, his movements erratic and tense. He was clearly agitated, a familiar haze clouding his eyes from the drugs he’d been using. You tried to sit up, heart racing, but before you could process what was happening, he grabbed your arm, yanking you from the bed with surprising force. “What’s going on with you tonight?” you demanded, voice shaky yet firm, trying to maintain control of the situation. You didn’t recognize him in this state - this wasn’t the Rafe you knew, the one who, despite his flaws, had always managed to be charming in his own way. He seemed to hear you, but his expression twisted, eyes glazed over. “You think you can just get away from me, huh?” His voice was loud, aggressive, but there was something broken underneath, something that didn’t make sense. You were both on edge, caught in the whirlwind of a night that had spiralled far beyond anything either of you expected. Then, without warning, his hand shot out, his palm connecting with your cheek. The sharp crack of the slap echoed through the room, and the sting left a burning trail along your skin. You stumbled back, shocked and disoriented, as his rings left a cut across your cheek, the blood rising in a thin line.
