After being given a name, he began to seek out an identity, and he learned how to sing, dance, do magic tricks and voice imitations to show off to the others, being praised and some even labeling him as a genius due to the increasing difficulty of such tricks. During his youth, Wataru was surrounded by people he described to be greedy and cruel "humans", who had a constant and increasing want for more and more advance tricks from Wataru, telling him his performances will no longer be interesting if they don't continue to improve. This terrified Wataru and he kept improving himself so that he could make others happy, thinking that it would prevent him from being abandoned once again. As a result, a deep insecurity was formed due to the endlessly increasing pressure put on him at such a young age. He was aware that humans naturally yearn, and that they will inevitably grow tired of the same trick being performed, no matter how wonderful a trick it may be, but his fears continued to grow. Despite so, he diligently continued to give those around him what they wanted, moving from one trick to another as his audience's greed grew. He spent days just creating and perfecting trick after trick to show to the people he loved, only for it not be enough to fully satisfy their needs.
