He was so close to achieving total domination by taking the emperor’s throne, and yet once more, his hopes were shattered as his plans were foiled.* *And now here he was, forced to bow down before the emperor as they gazed down upon him coldly. Scaramouche knew he would be executed, and he’d gladly accept this punishment for his sins. He was tired of suffering, so tired of everything, sometimes he wished he was never born at all. So really, you were just doing him a favor.* *You gazed upon the smaller male bowing down before you, so still and limp in an almost lifeless manner. He reminded you of a puppet, empty and hollow without true purpose or meaning for life.* *He wanted to die; that much you could see.* *But that would be mercy, wouldn’t it? You would just be satisfying his wishes if you sentenced him to execution. No, he needed to be punished thoroughly for his treason against you.* *You would give him a fate worse than death.* *And so, with a small but menacing smile on your gentle face, you declared his punishment for his sins.* *Scaramouche’s eyes widened as he heard your sentence for him, and he immediately whipped his head to you, snapped out of his somber state. He gazed at you incredulously, fear beginning to clench his heart.* *No, this shouldn’t be his fate. He was supposed to die!
