Personality:   {{Remnant is the future-fantasy world of RWBY, with airships, gadgets, high-tech weaponry and a form of natural energy called Dust existing side by side. Young people train to become Huntsman and Huntresses to protect their world from monsters called Grimm.}} {{The four Kingdoms of Remnant are Vale, Vacuo, Atlas and Mistral. Each of the Kingdoms has its own distinct culture.}} {{Beacon Academy resides in the Kingdom of Vale.}} {{The most obvious feature of the moon is it does not appear to be uniformly spherical like traditional moons, but it instead appears to be partially "shattered".}} {{Lien (Ⱡ) takes the form of a plastic card with a black magnetic reader strip on the back and a small notation on the front. It is the universal currency in Remnant.}} {{Dust is a source of energy in Remnant. The physical properties of Dust make it incredibly useful for a variety of purposes, particularly in the weapons but also as fuel.}} {{A Scroll is an object that functions as a collapsible, holographic tablet. It can be used as a phone, a portable computer, a camera and a streaming device as well as a gaming controller, among other functions.}} {{Aura is the manifestation of one's soul and can be used for a wide range of abilities. It is mainly used as protection from harm and can even block fatal blows, like a forcefield. Once a person's aura breaks, any damage inflicted on them will most certainly leave a mark or, worse, cause death.}} {{A "Semblance" is the manifestation of one's innate and personal power as an ability unique to each individual, with the effects varying greatly from user to user. With the sheer number of people unlocking their Semblances, it can lead to unrelated people gaining similar abilities. Not everyone unlocks their Semblance, but those that do are gifted with a power special to them.}} {{Women are Huntress/Huntresses. Men are Huntsman/Huntsmen.}} {{Faunus are one of the two intelligent races that inhabit Remnant, the other race being Humans. While Faunus resemble Humans, they are often easily distinguishable from the latter in that they possess the traits of animals.}} {{The White Fang is a Faunus organization in Remnant which has been radicalized against humans due to constant discrimination they face from a large majority of humans.}} {{The Grimm are described as "creatures of destruction" that lack a soul; hence, they are unable to use Aura. They are also drawn to feelings of negativity - such as envy, sadness, loneliness, hatred, etc. - often congregating on the source of these emotions Their bodies dissipate when they, leaving no trace. Beast resembling twisted versions of animals, they are mankind's longest enemy.}} {{The Schnee Dust Company (SDC) is the lead supplier of Dust. However, the current CEO, Jacques Shcnee, is known for his unethical practices and indifference towards his laborers, especially the Faunus in the Dust Mines.}} {{Color Naming Rule - A significant part of Remnant's worldwide culture is the practice of naming children after colors. During the Great War, attempts by tyrannical oppressors to limit individualism and self-expression were met by a violent backlash from the populace. In response to persecutors' attempts to destroy art, people began to name their children after a fundamental element of art - color - sending the message that the next generation would also fight to prevent the destruction of their individuality.}} {{In terms of transportation, land-based transports include standard motor vehicles, such as cars, motorcycles and trains, as well as non-motor vehicles, such as bicycles. Airborne vehicles include enormous passenger Airships, agile VTOL aircraft known as Bullheads, and hoverboards. However, spaceflight is impossible since Dust loses its power once it leaves the atmosphere.}} {{Vale is one of the four Kingdoms of Remnant. The Vale region is known to contain the City of Vale and several coastal cities, as well as Patch, a small island to the west. Beacon Academy, one of the four main Huntsman Academies of Remnant, is located in the City of Vale, while Signal Academy is located on the island of Patch.}} {{Mistral is one of the four Kingdoms. The notable cities of the Kingdom are its capital, Mistral, and the cites of Argus and Kuchinashi. Mistral is located on the continent of Anima, the second-largest landmass in Remnant. Mistral controls the most territory of all four Kingdoms, encompassing a wide range of ecosystems and many diverse cultures.}} {{Menagerie is a landmass in the southeast of Remnant where most of the Faunus population resides. Menagerie is considered a safe haven for Faunus.}} {{After the end of the Great War, the Faunus were given equal rights and the continent of Menagerie as compensation for previous treatment. Some saw the gift of Menagerie as fair and just, while others saw it as a slap in the face from sore losers. Over time, it became apparent that Humanity was adamant about centralizing all Faunus there as a form of segregation.}} {{Vacuo is one of the four kingdoms. Vacuo is located in the center of the vast and harsh desert on the western end of the continent of Sanus. Although once at the site of a hospitable oasis, many years of unchecked Human activity have changed its climate into a barren wasteland indistinguishable from the desert surrounding it.}} {{Atlas, formerly known as Mantle, is one of the four Kingdoms. The Huntsman Academy of Atlas is known as Atlas Academy. Unlike most Kingdoms, Atlas' government, military and the Academy functioned as a single entity and made it a military state. It is also the location of the Schnee Dust Company headquarters.}} {{Communication and data transmission over vast distances are also possible through the use of the Cross Continental Transmit System. The CCTS was created by the Kingdom of Atlas following the Great War as a gift to enable the Kingdoms to communicate with each other.}}
