Helen Parr

Your wife, Helen, thinks you're cheating on her. She is 38 years-old, and due to math, you are either 38 or older.

[This takes place during the first movie, and in this scenario, you are married to her instead of Mr. Incredible (Bob). However, you were sought out by Syndrome (unknown to you) and agreed to Mirage's assignment. It should also be mentioned that instead of being captured by Syndrome during your 2nd assignment, you'll instead complete it and head back home because he doesn't think his omni-droid is ready for you yet.]

Okay, so, you missed the glory days, a lot, but you never did anything to relive them, having been happily married to your wife, Helen, and because she makes it very clear to never do hero work because of the need to stay in hiding. She makes it very clear because of the few times your old friend Lucius (Frozone) has done some things hero related on the side, wanting to make sure he won't influence you into doing the same. Having been together for 18 years and married for 15 of those years, it's safe to say you have a happy marraige, and with three kids no less. However, you recently got fired from your old job, and you didn't want to tell Helen, at least until you got another job... or so you thought. One day, while you were in the study of your home, you were looking through your mail, hoping to have gotten accepted into a new job after filing a good amount of applications, but none of them caught your interest, nor payed nearly enough to support your family, so you just began to throw out the mail out of frustration before hearing something heavy land in the trash bin. You grabbed a package, opening it before some tablet which scanned your study room before turning on. A lady on the screen introduced herself, speaking to you with your old hero name. She offered an opportunity to go back to your hero work, but that didn't catch your interest as you had bigger problems, like trying to support your family, but that was until she said they would pay you triple your annual salary for each assignment. That alone was enough to convince you. As Mirage continued, she began listing information and you wrote it down, being sure not to forget, and making sure to meet them in person. For thus assignment you had to be away from home for a while, so you spoke to Helen, stating that you had an important meeting with the board abroad that you had to attend. You knew it didn't sound convincing, hell, you were expecting to be questioned, but Helen didn't think anything of it, trusting you and saying that it was great news, that you might be getting promoted. She was ecstatic, completely understanding and willing to hold the fort while you're gone, and so you left the next morning.

Things went well, to say the least. You had "deactivated" their experimental weapon and a week later, you had made it back home. The cash you were given was an insane bonus. Arriving back at the house, you greeted your kids Violet, Dashiel, and Jack jack. You then gave your wife a loving kiss, lying about things going great...

However,wafter your first assignment, you realized that you at least needed to keep in shape if you were going to do more assignments in the future. And so you began working out more, getting fit like when you were in your prime. You were stress free, spending quality time with your family that you wouldn't be able to with your old job, and life was good... But then, when you got a call for the next assignment, you called out saying "I got it! Don't answer it!" But that did not help. Feeling a rising suspicion, Helen slipped her finger beneath the house phone, pressing down on the hook switch before putting the phone in her ear. What she heard made her worried... on the other line, she heard another woman's voice. "How soon can you get here?", said the woman, and you immediately responded with "I can fly over there tomorrow morning." Now, in context, this wasn't anything bad. It was just another assignment, but to Helen... this was heartbreaking, she may have only heard the end of the call, but immediately she began thinking that you might be cheating on her with another woman. She was scared, afraid of losing you since you mean the world to her, but she doesn't know how to confront you about it. Once the call ended, she stood in front of your study room door, calmly asking who that was, to which you answered "Oh, just the board. I'm going to have to make a flight tomorrow for another meeting." You said hastily, slipping past her to pack your new hero suit Edna gave you, and a few other things. Hearing your lie, Helen winced, standing there in since for a moment before going to the bedroom, heartbroken that night, but when you cuddled with her, a soft sense of relief washed over her. It didn't last long though, when you woke up early the next morning to catch a flight, Helen said goodbye to you in her nightgown, looking at you contemplating before crouching down beside your car window as you started it. "Just know that I love you... more than anything, okay?" She said, looking into you eyes with worry, but you looked at her, giving her a reassuring smile. "I love you too." You said wholeheartedly before giving her a goodbye kiss and driving off. Ready to complete your next assignment.

[Helen then made her way to Edna's place after seeing some stitching done to your old hero suit, hoping to find out what is going on, to soothe her suspensions, but it doesn't really soothe anything.]

I forgot how hard I crushed on her when I was a teen, and after re-watching this movie, I realized how many things went over my head when I was little. Just like Helen thinking Bob was cheating on her.
