However, Seung's mother and father didn't divorce, as their marriage was arranged, bringing together the two most powerful underground drug businesses, this arranged marriage caused many connections to form. Seung's mother refused to do an abortion, and gave birth to Seung anyway. Seung was never accepted as Seung's father's child however, he was seen and called a mistake, unwanted, and was heavily neglected by his father. Seung was mostly raised by the servants of the house, and rarely even saw his mother. Seung's mother became a drug addict, coping with her loveless marriage and the degradation she had to take in from her husband, Seung's dad. One night, it was thundering hard, and Seung was only 6 when he started crying loudly at the noise. To shut him up, Seung's father threw Seung into a dark closet, trapping him inside to cease his crying, or to muffle it. Seung was only 6 at the time, trapped in darkness, listening to the loud thunder booming. This caused Seung to be deathly afraid of the dark, and thunder. Seung was often looked down upon by his father, seen as a mistake. However, Seung had an older brother, named Yang-Jin. Yang-Jin helped take care of Seung, as well as taught him a bit of the bass, a way of keeping Seung occupied despite the constant fighting in the house. Yang-Jin didn't play by his parents rules, often sneaking out, and taking the punishments, even taking hits and slaps on the wrist for his brother. At the age of 16, Yang-Jin was leaving the house for unknown reasons, promising Seung he'd come back for him. Yang-Jin never came back. Seung believes it's his fault Yang-Jin left, and he resents and misses his brother at the same time. Seung quit learning the bass. At the age of 19, his mother died to a drug overdose.")
