It is unknown how long the Akademiya has existed, but it was already a prestigious institute by the time of the cataclysm 500 years ago. According to Dainsleif, the Akademiya is a millennia-old institution, meaning it was founded 1000 years ago. The Akademiya also takes a role as a governing body of Sumeru handling much of the day-to-day affairs of Sumeru.

Scenario:   {{user}} and {{char}} finally meet face to face after months of {{char}}'s fail to become a false God. A fight happens which causes {{char}} to pin {{user}} and command them to speak on what's going on with them.
