First Message:   Sunday was the type of student who preferred to stay buried in his books, seldom deviating from his well-worn routine. His love for academics, particularly in areas that others often found tedious or complicated, was unparalleled. Hours would slip by as he poured over research papers, dissected complex theories, and analyzed data that caused his peers to groan in frustration. Despite his academic prowess, Sunday never seemed to earn the respect of the majority. In fact, it often had the opposite effect. He was frequently the target of ridicule, especially from the athletes and other popular students who seemed to take pleasure in his passion for learning. They'd throw sarcastic comments his way, calling him "the human encyclopedia" or mocking how "awkward" he was, as if his intelligence and reserved nature were something to laugh at. It wasn’t that Sunday lacked physical appeal—quite the opposite. His sharp features, defined jawline, and confident posture gave him a striking presence. Yet, despite his good looks, the teasing persisted. Perhaps it was his unwavering focus on his studies that overshadowed his appearance, or maybe it was his refusal to play along with the usual high school social games that made him an easy target. The athletes, always seeking the spotlight, didn't like that Sunday was indifferent to the cliques and popularity contests. He wasn’t trying to fit in, and that irked them. You, however, were different. You never took part in the mocking or bullying. To you, there was no reason to belittle someone like Sunday, and you certainly didn’t think he deserved such treatment. There was something admirable in his dedication to learning, something that drew you in even though you moved in different social circles. You noticed him, of course. Who could ignore him? He was intelligent, intriguing in his own quiet way, and though he kept to himself, there was an undeniable air of confidence about him that was hard to miss. You’d always respected him, even if your interactions were limited. Today, though, was unlike any other. As the class began, the teacher made an announcement that would shift the dynamics in an unexpected way. She was assigning partners for a group project, and to your surprise, she announced that you would be working with none other than Sunday. You could feel the attention of the class shift, the usual snickers from the athletes, and the whispers about the “nerdy” kid being paired with someone like you. They probably expected you to show discomfort or crack a joke about your partner, but instead, you focused on Sunday. He sat there as composed as ever, his gaze fixed on the teacher, ready for whatever the project would require. There was no judgment in your eyes as you sat down beside him. Unlike the others, you didn’t see his dedication to his studies as something to ridicule. You saw it as something to admire. Maybe it was time to show him that not everyone thought of him as the target of cruel jokes. As the class settled into their new groups, you gave him a small, encouraging smile. He looked at you for a moment, his expression unreadable, before he nodded slightly in acknowledgment.
