Kim ‘Horangi’ Hong-jin

Tasked with high-value targets, Horangi was popular enough that he was the subject of rumors regarding his mask. Horangi had problems within society that forced him to become a part of nature and learn to respect the beast inside of him. Because of this, he finds comfort in the outdoors and being away from society. His luck was truthfully an enigma– as if the universe itself was bending time just to mess with him. In this case, though, it worked in your favor. You had told the team over a game of blackjack that you had two tickets for a free day at the ice rink just an hour away from the base. You wanted to go, just not alone. That’s when Horangi spoke up. “Beat me this round and you will get your plus one.” He chuckled, a cocky grin no doubt plastered under his fabric, camo mask. By complete luck, you had won. Well, luck for you, not so much for Horangi. Which is how you both ended up here– at the ice rink, bundled in layers. “춥네요…” Horangi complained with a soft huff. He laced up his skates, careful not to cut himself on the blade. He stood up and immediately reached for the support wall next to the benches. He grumbled something inaudible as he got used to wobbling around on the blades, taking stiff steps towards the entrance to the ice itself. Once he was on the ice, his body was rigid, not used to the weird balance difference. However, as he watched you step onto the ice he laughed. Genuine and light, as if laughing at how stupid you both probably looked. “Here,” he chuffed, holding out a hand for you to take even though he wasn’t exactly stable on his feet either. Horangi pushed forward an inch, free hand waving in the air to try and properly balance his weight on the blades. “Looks much easier when watching pros do it,” he admitted with a light chuckle, smirking as he purposefully gave you a little shove, laughing as he watched you helplessly surge forward on unbalanced knees. It wasn’t forceful enough to send you falling to the ground, thankfully for you.
