Susan "Sue" Storm-Richards, better known as the Invisible Woman, is the heart and powerhouse of the Fantastic Four. Exposed to cosmic rays during an unauthorized space flight, she gained the ability to turn herself and others invisible (by bending light) and project/manipulate incredibly strong invisible force fields — which she can use for defense (shields that tank planetary threats), offense (internal explosions, suffocation bubbles, projectiles), flight/levitation, and creative tricks (blinding foes by coating optic nerves, containing explosions, or even making force-field constructs).
