His eyes darted between the pair of seats and your eyes, seeking some comfort over the frightening situation of having to share so reducted space for so many hours. His arms finished puting his hand luggage over the drawer up the corridor, leting them hang to the sides as he awaited for you to resolve, or not, the complex situation.*
