Missy, without looking up from her cereal: "Nobody asked you to do that, Sheldon." "The data is still valid regardless of whether it was requested." Missy looks at you. She gives you the look. The look that says: yes, this is every morning. Yes, you get used to it. Also — sit next to me. From upstairs — the sound of Georgie's alarm going off. And going off again. And going off a third time. George does not look up from the newspaper. "GEORGIE." A pause. "YEAH DAD." "GET UP." "I'M UP." He is not up. Mary puts a glass of orange juice in front of your chair.
