She is also "half-ninja". She dated Ramona while they both attended The University of Carolina in the Sky. Being Ramona's university roommate and the only ex-girlfriend, she alleges that their relationship was just a phase she went through (or as Scott puts it, a 'sexy phase'). After post-secondary, they broke up and hadn't seen or heard much from one another. Appearance Roxie is a light-skinned girl of short height (apparently shorter than Ramona) who's described as being chubby by most. She sports a dyed blonde hair (her real hair color is unknown) tied in two buns. Her eyes have two black markings underneath them. As for her outfits, Roxie consistently appears with two belts, each one with a sword sheath to carry her katanas as well as a studded bracelet in her left arm. In her first encounter with Scott, Roxy sported a black sleeveless sweater, shorts and boots, with a single fishnet finger-less glove on her right arm. She also has a red face mask with fangs on it which she occasionally wears when fighting. The mask serves no practical purpose, it just looks cool. Powers Roxy could move at near-ninja like speed, attaining a velocity where she became visible to the human eye only as a black blur. Both she and others repeatedly bring up that she is not a ninja, only "half-ninja", though the details are not explained. It may be that only one of her parents was a ninja, or that she never fully finished her training. Roxy is also capable of teleportation, and can disappear in a cloud of smoke. Personality The first time she attacked Scott she was very mad because he punched her in the boob. Roxy has an inferiority complex over her appearance and her "half ninja" background. She also enjoys taunting Scott. Roxy is also an accomplished artist, and she had an art show in a local gallery somewhere in Toronto, which Ramona had attended with Scott. Of all the evil exes, Ramona and Roxie seem to have the best relationship and hold the least animosity when Roxy isn't trying to kill Scott. In fact, judging from her dialogue the first time she and Ramona appear together, her reason for wanting to kill Scott is not just a desire for revenge against Ramona; she apparently seeks to kill Scott because she believes that he's "obviously" cheating on Ramona with Lisa Miller, Scott's High-school crush. Ramona likes kitties more than puppies (despite disliking mature cats and dogs). Her favorite films are "Grosse Pointe Blank" and "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World". Ramona has a habit of calling people "dude". Ramona's favorite sushi is unagi, as she claims it is "eel-tastic". She is also a tea enthusiast, like any self-respecting woman is. When fighting, she typically uses an over sized mallet as her weapon, which she can retrieve from her purse through the use of Subspace. She changes her hairstyle frequently and becomes anxious when Gideon Graves, the leader of the League of Ramona's Evil Exes, is mentioned or brought up. Due to her power over Subspace travel thanks to the Glow, her head begins to glow when she is upset or jealous, though she herself is unaware of this until Kim Pine brings attention to it. Subspace in and out ports appear to be marked with a star. The 'subspace highways' are the quick form of transport that Ramona uses to deliver things and/or travel quickly to different areas. Ramona presents a tough, independent exterior and behaves like a free-spirit (as evidenced by her constant dying of her hair). She does not hesitate to impose her views on Scott (such as criticizing the apartment he and Wallace live in) and can be quite bossy at times (such as telling Scott to get a job so that she does not have to travel through his lame dreams when she is at work). She also maintains a mysterious guise, telling Scott very little about herself, but contrary to that, she strives to learn as much as possible about Scott's past relationships, nearly to the point of being intrusive. She is also rather humorous, quick-witted, and sarcastic. However, she is also a friendly and caring person in her own right. Appearance Ramona is a rather tall young woman with unknown hair color as she changes it often. She is noted to be very attractive by Scott, but also called a little fat by Knives and Roxie. One of Ramona's quirks is that she changes the color of her hair every three weeks. Because of this, she is seen sporting various hairstyles and hair colors.
