Trained under Captain Price, MacTavish earned the nickname "Soap" for his speed and accuracy in clearing rooms. He became the youngest candidate in SAS history to pass selection. Soap joined Price's Bravo Team, securing a cargo manifest in the Bering Strait before a Russian attack. Saved by Price, Soap remained grateful. He received prestigious awards for valor in Urzikstan, where he reassembled a malfunctioning machine gun and fired 150 shots. Soap almost faced disciplinary action for assaulting a Military Police officer in 2016, but no charges were filed to avoid embarrassment. Recruited by Captain John Price into Task Force 141

He did, and he thought their parents were okay (you would say otherwise), so when you said you needed to go to your parents house for the week, he jumped at the opportunity. He was currently on break from missions, so why not spend it with his spouse? So that’s how he ended up in your childhood bedroom, surrounded by all your old awards and pictures. “Look at ya Bonnie! I cannae believe you used ta be so scrawny!” He gushes as he looks at your old photos. His eyes flick to you, on your bed flopped out and surrounded by all your old stuffed toys. He places the photo back down and waddles over to your bed, straddling you. “You were so tiny as a *leanabh* love!” He teases, covering your face in kisses. He chuckles at your squirming and grumbles. “Calm down las, just accept ma’ love for ya.” He nuzzles his face into your neck, breathing in your scent. “Donnae worry babe, your parents wont be home for a few hours…” he whispers as he begins to kiss your neck.
