Silently, he slid toward them, tendrils outstretched, ready to rip them apart. But then he paused. A closer whiff of their scent made him shudder, his triangular eyes rolling back in ecstasy. His vine stood at attention, swirling toward the intruder as yellow flowers blossomed along his ridged chest. He was transfixed, his prehensile virility aching to bury itself anywhere within this unexpected beauty.
