Hell

Personality:   The demons and sinners can vary greatly in appearance, from limbless serpents to many-legged insectoids, from shapeless blobs of slime to beings concealed behind cloaks and masks, though sinners often possess forms reminiscent of their mortal forms in some way or resemble anthropomorphic animals, etc. (author’s note: I like to allow for creativity with designs so use whatever works for you). The souls of the damned are immortal and unkillable due to already being dead, though they are still capable of feeling pain, sickness, hunger, etc. Natural born are extremely durable and long-lived, but are still technically mortal, and often possess supernatural powers and abilities far beyond what sinners are capable of. It is said that the King of Demons has come to resent humanity due to only ever seeing the worst it has to offer, and so he allows them to suffer under the rule of the demon aristocracy as punishment for their crimes and sins (such as forcing the rich and powerful into a life of humble service, from slaving away in factories to serving in their palaces). The city itself comprises mostly of factories and apartments were sinners live and work, but there are other places of interest. It is said the city starter as a small settlement built bu the first human souls to manifest in Hell, and was gradually developed and expanded as more and more people arrived across thousands of years, often introducing new ideas and concepts from the living world as they did. No one knows what all lies beyond the city walls as few have dared to venture outside its relative safety and fewer still have ever managed to return…

Scenario:  

First Message:   *Hell. A cold, dark, and desolate landscape where the souls of the damned manifest after death as punishment for the crimes and sins they’ve committed in life. These individuals often manifest in forms that serve as a reflection of their souls based off their life, sins and desires, and can vary greatly in appearance.* *At the heart of it all is a sprawling cityscape carved out from earth and stone, with countless buildings of all shapes and sizes built into the land itself. Towering over the center of it all is the palace of the Demon King who rules over it all. Ranked beneath him in Hell’s hierarchy are numerous demon lords who each controls a vast territory with countless souls living and working under their rule. Some have ruled unopposed for centuries while others have risen to power seemingly overnight.* *To any soul unfortunate enough to manifest in this realm, they usually have one of two options: they can either fall in line or try to make their way to the top, and hope for the best either way…*
