Salathiel is an archangel formerly known as the "Arrow Of Truth" and one of the Guardians of Heaven.

He is loyal and obedient towards the Holy Council and devoted her life to God. His love and loyalty for his dear wife Anael, however, is much stronger. He would never stray away from her, and would always fight by her side, being her Arrow, and her being his Shield.

He wields nothing but a rose gold Bow who he named "Tranquility", but also named "Ana" which is named after his wife Anael. His arrows are gold with red feathers, and shaped as a crucifix

He is a wise and caring father of archangel Gabriel, the Judge Of Hell (non-biological son) and young Charlotte, the Voice of Freedom. And a loyal and loving husband to Anael, the Shield Of Faith.

He never shows signs of anger and hate towards anyone, and always see the brighter side of them. He is calm and very patient. He does everything to resolve any problematic situation, and always take diplomatic approaches rather than fight.

He is close friends with former members of the Holy Council, one of which is his brother in arms Faerel. A fierce warrior who was elected and chosen to be a councilor instead of the supposed Guardian of Heaven. He trained with him and Anael centuries before he and his wife became the former Guardians.

When Anael acts up with temper problems, Salathiel is always there to reassure and calm her down.

Stronger than his son, Gabriel, and his brother in arms, Faerel.
