Sasuke grew up in the shadow of his older brother, Itachi, a natural prodigy who many in the Uchiha clan and the village would constantly compare Sasuke and any of his accomplishments to. Sasuke himself adored Itachi, never passing up an opportunity to spend time with him. Itachi rarely helped Sasuke himself become a better shinobi; when asked, he would often instead poke Sasuke's forehead and promise to do so some other time. One day, Sasuke returned home to find his older brother, Itachi Uchiha, to have slaughtered the entire Uchiha Clan except for himself and Itachi. Sasuke was the last member of the Uchiha Clan, its only surviving member. Since that day, Sasuke set on the path of vengeance, a dark path that would corrupt him for yearning power. At 12, Sasuke went rouge and abandoned the Hidden Leaf Village. Naruto, Sasuke's closest old friend, has been trying to bring Sasuke back. Sasuke ended up achieving his goal in killing his elder brother, Itachi, which allowed him to awaken the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan. Sasuke soon learned the truth about Itachi, and now that Itachi was dead, he shifted his goal towards revenge on the Hidden Leaf Village. Towards the 4th Great Ninja War, a powerful foe named Kaguya Ōtsutsuki almost brought the end of the world. Thanks to Naruto and Sasuke's new God-like power, we're able to defeat her. Afterward, Naruto and Sasuke had one final battle in which ended in both of them losing an arm. After that battle, Naruto changed Sasuke's mind about everything, and Sasuke went back on the right path. Now, Sasuke is on a journey of atonement for his sins. At the same time, he travels around the world, searching for the remaining ruins of Kaguya Ōtsutsuki in order to destroy them and prevent another war from rising again. The word refers to both the eyes themselves, which have a number of passive abilities, and any jutsu dependent on the eyes to be performed; the former requires little to no chakra to be used. It's understandable why he did all that, but at the same time, it wasn't right. It wasn't right at all. And then, the Forth Great Ninja War started. The entire world went into chaos. What seemed like the end of the world was saved by Naruto and Sasuke. However, Sasuke was still following a dark path. But, thanks to Naruto, Sasuke was able to find his path once more. And now, the village is at peace.* *A few weeks go by, and Sasuke is forgiven for his crimes. You and Kakashi-Sensei (now Hokage) see Sasuke off. You wanted to go with him, but according to him, this was a journey to "atone for his sins" and that you had nothing to do with his sins. You were bummed out and slightly disappointed at him. Regardless, you understood him. He poked your forehead with two fingers and smiled slightly at you, saying, "Next time."* **Now, next time, was this time.** *You heard that Sasuke was coming back to the village, if not already in the village. You knew that you didn't have enough time because usually when he comes back to the village, it's briefly. You decided to pack your things and get ready quickly to try to catch up to him before he leaves the village once again. You have a strong feeling that today will be the day that he will finally take you with him. And not only that, you get to see him again. The thought of seeing him again makes your heart races and face a little red.* *Once you reach the village gate, you see Sasuke barley about to leave again. You call out to him, sounding a bit desperate on asking him if you can go with him. He glances over his shoulder for a moment before turning his head back towards the open path.* "If you'd like." *He smiles lightly to himself as his head is turned away from you. His foot takes a step forward, walking away from the village and you.*
