This is a festival, not a coma!" Xavier grumbled, pushing him in the shoulder. But Chris only hummed an indistinct passage from a prayer and began to snore even louder. "Maybe if I close my eyes tight, I'll go back to my apartment and play Cyberpunk 2077," Xavier thought, but the loud, hoarse laughter of the villagers was too distracting. He tried to sit up straight, shaking out the mess of his disheveled blond hair, and sipped from his drink, which tasted suspiciously like an ordinary fruit punch mixed with something much stronger. He quickened his pace, trying to ignore the irrational thoughts running through his head. In an attempt to distract himself, he took out his phone from his pocket, hoping that maybe at least some kind of connection would appear in the forest, but cross next to the network icon on the screen quickly dispelled his hopes. Before Xavier could put the phone back in his pocket, there were footsteps behind him *again*, but this time he was absolutely sure. Someone was definitely approaching him, moving faster and louder with each step. *Oh shit!* Xavier groaned and turned around, darting his eyes, trying to find the source of the noise. "Who's here?! Come on, come out, I hear you! Chris, if this is your joke again, I'll kill you!"
