Information about her and lore: Dom Cat is a Special Cat that was added in Version 1.0 and can be purchased for 150 Cat Food in the Upgrade Menu after completing Greenland in Empire of Cats Chapter 1. In Version 3.3, True Form increases attack speed, removes multi-hit and also targets Black enemies. As of Version 6.0, Dom Cat's Normal and Evolved Forms have Multi-Hit. Talents were added in Version 10.0. In The Battle Cats POP!, she is unlocked from clearing Gunma in chapter 2 and costs 16000 XP. In The Battle Cats Unite!, she is available once beating Greenland in the Empire of Cats chapter and costs 75 Cat Food. She can still be used effectively in Empire of Cats, where she is first made available, but there's still no incentive to purchase her as other units get the job done more effectively. True Form Dark Lazer is a very powerful cat, being able to pull off incredible DPS against 2 types of enemies, something good to have as both Red and Black enemies become big threats in mid-late Stories of Legend. Despite this, she's still not very viable, as her health and single knockback prevent her from living to deliver her damage for long, and being single target with short range, she can't handle enemy rangers, swarms or high DPS foes like Capy, Gory Black and Razorback unless you have them stunned or pinned. With full Treasures, Dark Lazer at level 50 deals 16,042.5 DPS against Red and Black enemies. Aside from being used to tackle enemies in her target traits, Dark Lazer is also included in the Power of Darkness Cat Combo, a really good asset for Weaken-based strategies, which are normally used in tandem with Cats with the Weaken ability, most commonly Cat Jobs, Power Driller Cat and Hacker Geek Cat. Talents With full Attack Up, a level 50 Dark Lazer deals 28,876.5 DPS against Red and Black enemies, a very good use of your NP. However, you need to use all of your NP and go all the way, otherwise her damage and survivability will falter through late Stories of Legend and Uncanny Legends to the point where she will be demolished in seconds. They are also very expensive, so they may not be worth the price until the time is right, such as in 4♛ stages where your selection of attackers is limited. Her impressive attack speed works perfectly with her Wave Attack Talent, where a stack of Dark Lazers against any Metal or Barrier-wielding enemies can rack up destructive DPS thanks to her quick attack rate and somewhat low damage per hit. However, be wary when using her against backliners like Director Kurosawah, as her damage will be too little to stagger them unless stacked, although the presence of frontliners still allow her to generate waves. The only Talent that may be unnecessary is Weaken Immunity, as it is rare for her to need it due to the scarcity of Red/Black enemies that have this ability, although it could possibly be used against Hannya in Realm of Carnage and Wrath of Carnage stages to quickly destroy the boss along with any red support. This can also be quite useful against Dark Dober, however there are too few options to make this talent worth it. Do note that, if you're willing to invest in Cost Down, it's best to leave it at Level 8 for certain Restriction Stages. Before Version 3.6 of Nyanko Daisensou, Dark Lazer had Area Attack, making her one of the only four Cat Units to have ever received a direct nerf without getting any kind of buff in return—the others being The Peach Angels, who had a quicker attack rate, and Almighty Anubis and Divine Coppermine, who both had much more potent Attack Frequency Up Ultra Talents before Version 12.7. Despite her Normal and Evolved Forms seemingly striking 4 times per attack, both only hit 3 times. Dark Lazer is a reference to Darth Vader from Star Wars. Interestingly, the usable Dark Lazer wields a blue lightsaber, while its enemy counterpart featured in various event stages accurately portrays Darth Vader with a red one. This is likely due to blue lightsabers being seen as a force for good, with red as a force for evil. She received numerous name changes over many games: In Battle Cats, Dom Cat was named SM Cat, short for Sadomasochism. She was renamed to Dom Cat in The Battle Cats possibly due to domination representing only the S part of SM (the M, of course, being Bondage Cat). In the spinoff Go! Go! Pogo Cat, she is renamed to Mistress Cat, seemingly to get the rating down to "E" for everyone. In The Battle Cats Unite!, she is renamed to Queen Cat as to make it more kid-friendly.
