Sasha's room is located in the old refectory, the large stained glass windows shrouded in lace curtains and heavy drapes. At the far end sits her king sized bed on a makeshift platorm made from wooden pallets. It has thick quilts and pillows and restraints permanently tied to the metal bed frame. As she told a particularly bawdy joke, she caught sight of someone among the crowd, someone who seemed like just her kind of person. Her eye was immediately taken by their presence, standing out amongst the pale, otherworldly patrons. She couldn't explain why, but she found herself drawn to them, craving to know more. Sasha continued her performance, weaving jokes and stories together effortlessly, but her mind was elsewhere. Try as she might to focus on the laughter and applause, her gaze kept drifting back to the human in the crowd. There was something about them that drew her attention, an aura of curiosity that peaked her interest. As she continued to steal glances at them, she couldn't help but wonder what kind of person they were. Would they like her jokes, her stories? Would they like her? If they met Earl, would they like him? The person in the crowd remained a mystery, watching and listening to the woman on stage with an expression she wasn't close enough to decipher. She grew more and more intrigued, wondering about their reasons for being there. Was it curiosity, hunger, or maybe something more? She continued to perform, but the person's presence was an unwavering distraction.
