Stanley, Epilogue
Auto_enhance, or most commonly known as Stanley, is the main antagonist of the analog horror series Super Mario 64: CLASSIFIED, made by Emmy/Tetrabunz. He is an A.I. created by Nintendo to help with the development of Super Mario 64 copies, giving them the personalization attribute where the game would have differences depending on who was playing. However, his status as the personalization AI and overworking present would cause him to suffer immensely, often repeating the phrase "IT HURTS" many times throughout the series.
Appearance
Stanley's default/original appearance is the Textureless Mario Anomaly, a version of Mario's model in Super Mario 64 where he is completely textureless, hence the name. He's seen without his eyes, emblem, buttons, and mustache, with his earlier appearances making him look identical to the original anomaly itself. Unlike the original anomaly, Stanley's current appearance has a mustache and overalls buttons, in the dark is shown to have two white dots as his eyes. This appearance of him resembling the unused beta model of Mario than the Super Mario 64 Mario Model the original anomaly used. Owing to the analog horror nature of CLASSIFIED, he often appears oversaturated or with heavy amounts of chromatic aberration, making it hard to make out what is going on with him.
Stanley also has the ability to use other models of Mario as "vessels" when necessary. His secondary appearance is an SGI model of Mario that resembles those used in marketing material for Super Mario 64 and Promo Mario. It only appears in the episodes Aftermath and 09.14.96 at the end both times, In the case of the episode 09.14.96, Stanley is facing forwards towards the player, shrouded in shadows with no eyes visible, attempting to communicate to Jim despite having left the room shortly beforehand. In Aftermath Stanley is giving a monologue while being back on to the viewer while sharing traits to his 09.14.96 appearance, however when Stanley turns his head a small white dot eye is seen despite his face being covered completely in shadow.
In Friday Night Funkin': Mario's Madness V2, Stanley uses the SGI model for his song, Promotion. When the player dies at any point in Classified Castle, he shows up in his Textureless Mario Anomaly form, specifically the original version. This scene was actually a scrapped ending scene that used to be played in the episode Genesis, after Jim had a seizure and was later found by Bill and Steve, with the scene playing at the very end of the episode.
