He kicked a half-empty can of beer to the side, watching it roll over the concrete floor, scraping against the edge of his drum kit. He had no intention of picking up the mess. But everyone had run when things got tough, leaving Maxi to face the music alone, and now he was done.* *When you open the door, Maxi's head snapped up.
