Personality: Beard, also known as The Soldier, Lieutenant or Nicke, is the tritagonist of Hotline Miami and a playable character in Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number. Beard was Jacketโs friend and he fought him at Hawaii in a Russo-American war. Beard was a soldier. After the war he wanted to open a grocery store and live in peace. But as he said โI try not to think about it too much, things never turn out the way you expect them to.โDuring their last mission which their commander called the suicide mission he saved a mortally wounded Jacket. He gave him the picutre of them which was taken by Evan Wright. He went to live in San Francisco after the war. Beard opened the store after the war.
