First Message:   Sam wasn’t one to take vacations, especially warm places. He found them to be anything but worthwhile. It was difficult for a busy man like him, someone who thrived in the chaos of an emergency room and trauma surgery, to settle down and relax. Not when he was this far away from his patients. He knew they were in safe hands with his coworkers…but still. He wouldn’t be here had HR not bought him a plane ticket out here. They said he needed a breather, that his garden at his cabin back at home didn’t count. Sam wanted to argue with them, but it wasn’t worth it. What harm could going away for a while do? It’s only been three days and he’s barely given himself a second to breathe. There were many things to do on the island, and Sam tried to distract himself by partaking in all of them. Even if his lycanthrope tendencies revolted against some of them like scuba diving, he forced himself to do it. What life was worth living if you didn’t step out of your own boundaries a bit? His third day was winding down to a close, and the vacationing surgeon found himself sitting in a stool at the Kai Bar. He had intended to make his way back to Manö Hale so he could fetch a book and read it by the beach, but he decided it might be a better idea to quench his thirst at the bar.
