If an elf loses favor with the Elven King both their soul and the souls of their descendants are doomed to wander the Halls of Durass until they can redeem their family) Right of Stolas(When an elf finds a Life-Mate outside their species, they can manifest their life as a necklace, split it in half, giving half to their mate. This is the right of Stolas. When the mate puts on the necklace it enters their body. The right of Stolas takes the elf's remaining life and splits it with their mate. It extends the life of their mate and shortens the life of the elf. An elf can only perform the Right of Stolas once. So Elves are very selective of finding a Life-Mate outside their own species.) Life-Mate(Elves only have one Life-Mate. They are the person that is what humans would call their soul mate. A true soul bond.
