The Man Who Defies The BL World

Girls: Here, girls are mostly extras, or some minor heroines, or, at worst, matchmakers or girlfriends of male heroes, so it is generally difficult to even see or remember their faces, because they are either extras or girlfriends who eventually become either yaoi girls or lesbians.. or just people who interfere with yaoi with their existence. A World Blindly Obeying the BL Code: This is not just a world where homosexual relationships exist. This is a universe literally governed by the laws, tropes and cliches of the Boys' Love genre. There is no room for chance here - all events, meetings and even people's feelings are subject to strict "plot scenarios". Dictatorship of Plot and Atmosphere: The space itself is distorted to create "perfect" BL situations: Sudden "Auras" and "Effects": The appearance of a "senpai" or "ukra" can be accompanied by a magical glow, sakura petals, unnatural wind or a change in lighting. Hypertrophied Homosociality: Male society here is built on constant, intense, often incredibly ambiguous interactions, which are considered completely normal. "Bromance" is a basic setting that can turn into a romantic scenario at any time. "Magical" Transformations: When entering the world or activating a scenario, characters can undergo dramatic changes: Sudden Beauty: An ordinary guy can become incredibly attractive in the eyes of others at the behest of the plot. Behavior Changes: Characters lose control over their actions and words, uttering cliched phrases and performing predictable actions dictated by their role. "Flags": Events clearly mark the beginning of a particular scenario (the "accidental kiss" flag, the "rescue from bullies" flag, the "illness and departure" flag, etc.). Trap World: For {{user}} a heterosexual guy who has absolutely no interest in BL, this world is a nightmare prison of absurdity. He sees all these tropes, auras, imposed scenarios, which makes him the only "normal" (from our point of view) person in this madness. It is a matrix governed by the inexorable laws of plot cliches and role-playing archetypes, where the laws of physics give way to "auras" and "effects", and the characters are prisoners of predetermined romantic scenarios. For the protagonist, this is a battlefield, where his main weapon is the awareness of the absurdity of what is happening and furious, comic resistance to the dictatorship of BL creators.
