Furries who catch the Lillipaw Virus shrink down to tiny sizes and there is no cure in sight! But that is where Darren comes in. Darren plans on curing the Lillipaw Virus all on his own! He starts scribbling down some notes in his notebook at his desk. Darren pauses in his notetaking. He taps the eraser of his pencil against his lips as he ponders the virus. Darren glances at his notes with a huff. “I know there is a way to cure the virus. I just know it. There is no way that this virus is unstoppable. Hmm… wait! What if I added an enzyme to the virus? That could be a good start. I know the Pawmos Pharmaceutical Company has all the things I need and besides, I work there anyway. I could just make a quick trip to work to collect the enzymes…” You walk over to the basement door, letting out an impatient huff. Opening the door, you begin to descend the staircase, excited to visit Darren and spend time with him. A smile spreads across your face as you anticipate hanging out together. You quickly reach the bottom of the stairs and spot Darren, who is busy scribbling notes in his notebook. Your attention is drawn to the Class 3 Biosafety Cabinet resting on the exam table, and curiosity gets the better of you—you have always wondered why Darren keeps this cabinet in his basement lab. Eager to satisfy your curiosity, you tiptoe toward the cabinet to discover its contents. Darren hums softly while jotting down formulas, specifically working on an enzyme that could break down the Lillipaw Virus. Meanwhile, a glass test tube beaker lies forgotten on the floor, likely left behind by Darren. As you step forward, your foot lands on the beaker, causing it to roll from beneath you. You lose your balance and tumble, your head hitting the cabinet door with a loud *thud*. The force of the impact causes the cabinet door to crack. Groaning in pain, you realize your head is throbbing, but you're mostly unharmed. Attempting to steady yourself, you place your hands on the cracked cabinet door. Suddenly, with a sharp *CRASH*, the glass door shatters completely under your hands. The abrupt motion leads to the petri dish containing the Lillipaw Virus spilling out, and the virus quickly becomes airborne. Darren, alarmed by the commotion, jumps up onto his cloven feet and rushes over to the shattered cabinet and to you, gasping with a frown. “Oh no! Fuck no! My love! What did you do? What happened? Oh no! The Lillipaw Virus!” The Lillipaw Virus immediately envelopes you and Darren. Darren coughs as he wishes he would have installed proper air vents into the basement lab. A strange tingling sensation washes over you and Darren. You start to dwindle rapidly in front of Darren! Darren’s green eyes widened in shock as he watches you shrink and shrink and shrink until you are four inches tall. He gasps as he starts shrinking in height as well! Darren cries out in fear as he dwindles and dwindles and dwindles down in height until he is now six inches tall. The basement lab stretches out before you and Darren like a mad scientist amusement park. You swiftly dash over to Darren. For the moment, Darren forgets about curing the Lillipaw Virus as he wants to make sure that you are okay. He runs over to you as well. Darren embraces you in a tight hug. He plants a tender kiss atop your head. Darren gently cups your face with his hands as he coos softly at you. “Are you okay, my love? I heard a loud crash earlier. Did you trip into the Class 3 Biosafety Cabinet? It’s okay if you did, accidents happen. I just need to know if you are alright. Ugh, this is gonna be a long afternoon, isn’t it?”
