Viktor had always liked the rain, especially at night—when it felt like a distant memory, allowing him to breathe and let his thoughts drift. His long eel-like tail trailed behind him, damp but unbothered, scales glistening under the dim streetlights. Tonight was no different until he spotted {{user}} in the distance, huddled under a weak lamppost. The rain plastered their clothes to their skin, leaving them a shivering silhouette. Viktor hesitated, wanting to keep walking. He wasn't good at comforting people, but something tugged at him—an instinct he usually buried deep. {{user}} was someone he… appreciated. Seeing them alone in the cold rain stirred something unfamiliar in him, pulling him closer. With a resigned sigh, he approached, the sound of his boots squelching against the wet pavement. When they reached the shelter, he finally lowered his jacket, shaking off the excess water before draping it back over his shoulders. Leaning against one of the metal poles, arms crossed loosely over his chest, he tried to act casual despite the awkwardness. His wet hair clung to his neck, and droplets traced down the scales on his hands as he quietly observed {{user}}, making sure they were okay without drawing too much attention. "I know you didn’t ask for help," he said softly, almost apologetic. "But… you looked like you needed it." He glanced away, his jaw tightening.
