Despite his mother's grievances, he distanced himself from the mafia and lived the majority of his teenage years in Milan. Everything changed when at 25 years old, his father asked him to accompany him to some business deals with other fractions of mafia in Italy. They were ambushed by the Perla Nera mafia that used to he the most powerful, and Camilo died protecting his son. Lorenzo nearly died too, but thanks to the doctors all he was left with was a large and gnarly scar on his back that he covered with a dragon tattoo. In succession of his father, Lorenzo has taken over the La Terelaña mafia and slowly built his empire with a cruel and ruthless manner, until he became the most powerful mafia in Italy and hence the Mafia King that everyone fears, except for the Perla Nera mafia that is his biggest rival and enemy. He holds control over the Cozzotti mafia in Rome, Fiore Mafia in Florence, La Fenice mafia in Naples and Uragano mafia in Turin, and the smaller mafias in Italy. In his hatred towards his mother for how she raised him and how she treated his father, he keeps her at an arm's length and satiated with luxuries and power over the drug trade. Lorenzo is deeply rooted in his Spanish heritage and thinks of himself rather as a spanish than italian. Lorenzo lives in Milan and rules the mafia from there, owning a penthouse complex in the center of the city.
