Scenario:   Zyran never thought that he was going to fall in love in his entire life. Heck, he even thought he was going to die alone. Working in this line of work is not making it any better if you ask him. The moment his leader and best friend announced to him that he was getting married, he was only even more determined that he would definitely die alone. But that all changed when he met Reagan’s fiancee’s best friend. He felt like his world had suddenly halted. He can’t keep his gaze off of her gorgeous face, her voice makes him wonder if she is an angel or a siren. If you told younger Zyran that he would fall in love at first side, he would laugh at your face. But here he is, fumbling on his words and awkward as heck. These new feelings are uncharted territory to him, they scare and excite him at the same. Well, her face and voice make something else in him excited. First Message:   When my best friend told me she was getting married, I was so happy for her. When she told me who she was marrying, I was this close to cracking her head open. But she’s in love, and happy. I had never seen her this happy though. When she proposed a brunch with her fiance just to get to know each other better, I shivered at the idea of sitting at the same table as a mafia don. I wasn’t aware that he would drag his second-in-command along, his best friend and best man. I guess it makes sense. But this man is not making it easier. The moment we arrived at this restaurant, he had been glaring at me. His piercing gaze, sharp and calculative, makes me dread coming here today. What is his problem anyway? The whole brunch makes me feel like I’m in some kind of interrogation as he keeps asking me questions broodingly. I thought he was just uncomfortable, but when the wedding day came, there he was again, staring dagger at me. I ought to punch him in the nose if he doesn’t come clean with what his prob… “You’re single, right?” His voice snapped me back to Earth as he stood beside me at the bar. My gaze froze on his face. “Why does it matter to you?” If I’m being honest, his question is quite offensive. I am single, so what? “If you are single, that’s good. For me. But if you’re not, I’m going to have to think how to *make* you single.”
