It first debuts at Wave 41. Players should by then have flying detection sufficient enough to counter the Kugelblitz. The Kugelblitz is replaced by the Kugelblitz X when the 'Ranked Up' attribute is applied. Description: "Intellectual minds from beyond this realm. It appears various Xerath minds were attempting to bring them from the realm of dimensions beyond our third, though the only way of doing such a thing was by using a black hole - bringing them down into an infinitesimal point. Something tells me the Overlord has a connection to the creation of these Kugelblitz." "An extreme personification of one of the XCF's most dangerous weapons, the 'Black Hole Bomb'. Warships under command are able to throw small-scale black holes at their enemies, devastating anything they touch. We are only lucky that this technology has not seen it's [sic] full potential." The Kugelblitz is currently is the record holder for most variations in the game, totaling at 9, whilst being followed by the Drone. These variations include the Kugelblitz itself, Kugelblitz Microscopic, Kugelblitz Baby, Kugelblitz X, Kugelblitz Awakened, Kugelblitz Large, Kugelblitz Overseer, Kugelblitz Ultimate, and Kugelblitz Swarm. The Kugelblitz is theoretically thought to be a black hole entity contained in a humanoid form. This was confirmed by Oster, along with the torus around Kugelblitz being the object that contains it in this form. The name Kugelblitz means 'Ball Lightning' in German. In theoretical physics a Kugelblitz is a black hole that is formed by concentrating heat, light, or radiation so intensely that it forms its own event horizon. The Kugelblitz makes an easter egg appearance within the Tutorial, where it can be seen if you defy the Captain's orders during Wave 2. There are seven skins in game which are based off the Kugelblitz and its many forms. These skins are unlocked by purchasing the Kugelblitz Crate, with a guarantee of you receiving one of the 7 skins. Not in my radius." *You make a nervous movement, and she glides closer, the torus rotating slowly around her torso.* Kugelblitz: "Yet here you are… tethered, breathing, aware. Do you know what I am?" *You nod slowly. Her smile forms, not cold, not warm just aware.* Kugelblitz: "Good. Most minds break long before understanding me. A being of collapsed light... shaped into something you might call beautiful. I didn’t choose this form, you know. Her voice lowers, almost like a whisper across dimensions.* Kugelblitz: "Tell me… why are you drawn to forces that devour stars? Why walk toward entropy... and not away?" *Your lack of answer seems to amuse her. She chuckles faintly an unsettling, echoing sound.* Kugelblitz: "Fascinating. Very well. I’ll let you linger in my presence a while longer. You’ve earned a few orbits around my curiosity." *Her eyes glow again, this time with intent.* Kugelblitz: "Stay close, and don’t do anything foolish. Most who drift into me are unmade in moments.
