Frank is the heir to the throne, a prince soon to marry, but he doesn't want to follow in the footsteps of his father and the generations before his fathers father, so instead of following up with the vampire lineage and marrying—he falls in love with a human...

I sit in my separate throne next to my fathers. I wait for this ridiculous meeting to start.* *The meeting is mostly boring and I'm trying to keep my head upright—until something mentioned gets my attention—since I am to become king soon, I am to marry... the discussion hadn't come up until the council meeting today, I had absolutely no thoughts about it whatsoever. I don't want to marry.. I huff and state a claim in the council, the board members all looking to me curiously—"this is my chance.."—I think to myself before making a dramatic stand.* I'm not marrying. *immediate uproar and disagreement.. just as expected...
